Hey Wisso What's Up,,

I watch some videos too, but it's about wireless connection as the wireless connections have a different frequencies each one based for sort of technology.

this hack can be done smoothly with WLAN (like per-to-per) or ( pc-to-access point ) with giving the pc's adapter a wide range to addict the poor signals..

a long time ago i made many tests for such a job like this with Hawawii device that contain 2 ports for external Antenna,, will be a video for that,,,

Hey Wissam,

When you say "stick 2 wires on those and watch the coverage raise up.", what wires are you talking about, i would love to get this working, my cinr is at 8-10, so i could use the boost.

thanks in advance.

Hi Wissim,

I did a similar thing and it works for all wireless technologies. The template I used was http://www.freeantennas.com/projects/template/

There are loads of do it yourself solutions but the best bet is to get the dongle as high as possible and point it towards the transmitter, then reflect the signal towards the dongle using something metal.

I have found a supplier that does external aerial/boosters that can be mounted on a pole outside - these are 320 LYD so they are not cheep but work well if you have very low signal e.g. outside of the City.

As for MAC and Linux the drivers aren't available yet, you must wait for the open source community to make one, but since Libya is the first country with Huwaui and ZTE you will wait longer until the modems spread world wide "It they prove stability of course", and to get coverage you must make a booster, like the one I made or use your imagination "And some physics", if you can notice your Huwawei modem have 2 pins for extra antennas, stick 2 wires on those and watch the coverage raise up.
