Please follow the real story here
For two days now and after the downtime ADSL is being too slow, I think they started testing Wimax causing over load on ADSL users since they will use the same main cable to provide both sides with internet Wimax & ADSL.
I am not sure of this but I know that the speed is really 3kb/sec and for all people I know, if it’s true then they must upgrade the whole system and existing network before attaching new stuff on it.
The brightside, thx god for the 3kb without it I wasn’t able to post this, but I hope this ends soon.
Hurry up and fix it please I am losing business here, I really miss the 30kb/sec bit rate I was satisfied (|-_-|).

i think the ADSL is being slow because of the sea cables between libya and italy that have been cut off since friday morning,and fixing these cables will take about a week.
and about the wimax,they installed a lot of antennas here in benghazi, i mean u can see them every where u go,but i think they r waiting for the fiber optic network to be installed,becuse they can’t activate the wimax without it…alcatel-lucent is installing this network in benghazi,but i don’t know about tripoli if they finished installing the fiber optic or not….any way i hope they run the wimax as soon as possible and the 2Mbps speed is real and not only theoretical.

.There is major defect in inter net wire near Malta. I think it is cut.. There fore the inter net connection is slow. Even mobile connections are affected.
