Libya Telecom and Technology “LTT” will decrease ADSL and WiMax speed for a week or so starting from Saturday and they claim that this will be due to technical issues that they can do nothing about.

Is it because they do not have the resources with necessary technical skills to identify what kind of issues their facing, and how to resolve such issues??
I heard that the company responsible on the sea cable is doing some maintenance on the cables. and that's why they don't have nothing to do about it, But sure LTT shouldn't rely on one company, they must purchase more cables from more companies.
I hope they make it fast as possible.
I really do not understand why the hell the LTT never thoght about moving to a better speed than this they stuck at. Really is not practical watching videos using 256 kbit speed.
Network outages in SP network are explicable but SP should inform their clients about the nature of outage and adopt the modern techniques to minimize the downtime. Moreover SP, particularly national carrier like LTT should have reasonable backup links to reduce the effect of internet outage to e-business companies. Hopefully this issue will resolve soon.
for gods sake when will i be able to use an internet connection that is comparable to the rest of the world, since i came to this country, i always waited to have a proper connection, weeks months years.. bokra inshalla
however i do appreciate the fact that they bought wimax. it was going good for couple of weeks,
