Dz.ly is a brand new Libyan URL shortening services that’s shorter then tiny URL the first tiny shortening service in the world, I think a lot of good .LY domains is still available so there is a big chance for Libyan developers to shine.
In case you don’t know what is an URL shortening service look at this figure:
So it’s easier and safer from eyes to post it on forums, or twitter which doesn’t accept more then 140 character, or to hide it from users so they can only find out after the click.
By the way Dzly means:
“As we are using the top-level Libyan domain name (.ly) We decided to give our project a Libyan native word which means “(send to me ). ”
DZLY Twitter plugin for WordPress is available “Didn’t try, soon I will”.
The overall rating is “Good” but the look needs some life, it’s seems boring but I am sure they will improve it after reading this post.

I read about many shortening services based on .ly domains, but this is the first one to be a pure Libyan.
personally, I don’t use twitter, but I can tell it will help many people using Twitter.

after about 3 months i found ur post about Dz.ly,, i know What a shame !!
Thanx for posting about and you should use Dztwitt plugin, it’s easy and helpful..
And about the look&feel of Dz.ly it was just like you and many others wish and want, and it was like that before i lunch it.
the reason that i change the design was how many millisecond that i have to win when users going to compare Dz.ly with many other URL shorting websites .
however, i think you are right, we need to work on it !!
