Tired of waiting, refreshing and pinging, or you just want to monitor if your ISP is connected to the internet or the fiber is lacking connectivity, well I made this little program that well sneak and take a peek to see if the fibers are connecting you to the internet or not in real time (every second) it’s bandwidth friendly, it doesn’t use any network traffic or download any files.
Simply it does see if Google is visible or not since it’s the fastest ever, if Google ain’t there, then nothing can be.
Download Fiberec01.exe (152 KB, 0.1 MB)
Ok here is some tips:
When it’s always green the internet is good “Mostly because not a lot of users is using it”.
When it’s green and red every little and a while then the internet is slow but fair.
When it’s red, red, red, red, green, red, red, red then may the force be with you, it’s screwed up.
When it’s always red or stays red for a long times means “The cables are down, lot of users connected” at this case most of your programs that uses internet will timeout and sometimes disconnect.
Enjoy
