Security, Software

Each Libyan user have his own experience when it comes to the best AntiVirus, so we are going to put an end to the argument and give you an overview of all features so you can compare and decide what’s best for you.

Please avoid using non original copies available in the market that comes with serials, cracks and patches, I personally used them but I can’t take the resk of blacklisting my machine and doing it again and again and again, for the peace of mind I did buy an original copy of  BitDefender internet security thats all I need for now.

you can anytime try any anti-virus for 30 days as trial, if you like it then spending some Libyan dinars for your security sake is not a mistake.

As long as I know these AntiVirus software are available in Libya and could be obtained from any approved reseller:

logo BitDefender Whats The Best AntiVirus Available In The Libyan Market
McAfeeLogo Whats The Best AntiVirus Available In The Libyan Market

press logo avg Whats The Best AntiVirus Available In The Libyan Market

Here is the difference between all available AntiVirus software, but as you can see bitdefender comes first while Kaspersky comes second, they fairly are the same but BitDefender have some other features on it’s total security version like online backup, do we even need that in Libya while we can get a safe hard copy right away specialy with the hardware prices droping down.

I wouldn’t go for any of these. My choice would be for AVG.
You get a virus, spware, email and a link scanner. (I disabled the link scanner cause it’s annoying.) In version 8 of AVG you get a resident shield (which scans files that are being copied/opened etc. in the background).
Best thing about it is that it’s free, so you can update whenever you feel like it. (Not sure what extra options you can get in the other viruses that make it worth the money).
Add a decent firewall, like commodo (which is a lot better than windows firewall, according to tests), and you’re pretty much safe from most internet attack.

Our company uses Kasperky For Workstations (including firewall)and i use Kasperasky on my own PC.

I find its pretty good, and isnt too memory or processor hungry like other AV’s like Norton are
